Jerusalem Belongs to Israel Says President Trump, Somali Militants Attack For Revenge

On January 15, 2019, Somali Militants in Nairobi, Kenya attack an upscale hotel and business complex after Trump’s witless remarks. The Al Qaeda affiliate, launch a deadly attack for U.S. President Donald Trump’s decision to recognize Jerusalem (Al-Quds) as the Israel capital. Somali militant group, Harakat al-Shabaab al-Mujahideen (holy warriors) have been fighting to topple the weak UN-backed government and impose strict Islamic law. Officials did not specify how many assailants there are, but CCTV clips show at least five dressed in black. One is seen waiting outside the restaurant before blowing himself up in a cloud of debris. Then, four others shoot assault rifles crossing the car park. At the Dusit hotel compound, rescuers and security agents evacuate civilians from the scene where there are explosions and gunshots. Some hide under desks as bullets shatter plate glass doors. Others jump from windows, or run out under fire. More than 700 civilians evacuate from the Dusit D2 complex after a 20-hour, overnight siege. Fifty people believed to have been in the complex remain unaccounted for on Wednesday. An American who survives the 9/11 attacks is among the 21 people killed. Kenyan security forces eliminate the murderous terrorists.
